Is Tindra really free?

Yes. The full tracker — budgets, reports, exports, recurring, widgets, multi-currency, themes, tags, profiles, reminders, forecasting — is free, with no ads and no in-app purchases.

Do I need to create an account?

No. There's no sign-in or email. The app works fully anonymously from first launch.

Where is my data stored?

On your device, in local storage. It never goes to our servers. It leaves only if you export it yourself.

Does Tindra read my SMS?

Never. Optional auto-capture reads notifications only — and only with your permission. Tindra never requests SMS or call-log access.

Does it work offline?

Completely. Everything works with no connection at all.

Are there in-app purchases or subscriptions?

No. Tindra is completely free — no subscriptions, no paid unlocks, no ads.

What happens to my data if I uninstall?

It's wiped — we deliberately disable OS auto-backup. Export a CSV first if you want to keep it.

Which devices does it support?

Android phones, large phones, tablets and foldables — Android 8.0 (Oreo) and newer.
