The camera and editing need no account, and most of what Sheen handles never leaves your phone. What our server keeps belongs to an anonymous credits wallet, created only if you buy credits, use a paid AI tool or redeem a code. If you signed in with Google, that wallet is linked to your Google account by a keyed one-way hash of its identifier: we never keep your email address, name or password. This page explains how to delete it.
01Delete from the app (fastest)
- Open Sheen and go to Settings.
- Tap Delete my data and confirm.
This happens straight away. Our server deletes your AI uploads, results and jobs, your notification device records, your wallet recovery link, your Google account link and your credits balance, then your wallet's credentials. On your phone, Sheen deletes its working files, AI records and notification records, and the anonymous identifier, purchase records and unsent events of Meta's library, and forgets the Google account it showed as signed in.
Unused credits are lost when the wallet is deleted, and cannot be restored or refunded afterwards.
Signing out is not deleting. Settings › Account › Sign out only gives this phone a new, empty wallet: your credits and their data stay with your Google account until you sign in again. To delete them, sign in with that Google account in Settings › Account, then use Delete my data. Removing Sheen's access in your Google account's settings does not delete what our server holds either.
02What is kept, and for how long
- Purchase records and the credits ledger stay, no longer linked to a usable account, as long as accounting, tax and refund obligations require.
- AI results you reported are kept, anonymised, for up to 90 days for review, then deleted.
- Analytics and crash data are not linked to your wallet. They expire under Firebase's retention (analytics after 14 months). You can stop them being collected in Settings › Share usage analytics.
- Data already shared with Meta and Google for personalised ads is held by them under their own policies, and you can ask them to delete it. Sheen keeps your choice if you turned Settings › Personalised ads off, so it stays off; an Allow is forgotten, and Sheen asks again where the law requires consent.
Photos you saved are in your phone's gallery, not on our server: delete them there. Uninstalling Sheen removes everything the app stores on your phone.
Deleting your data does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Sheen has none today; if you subscribe in the future, cancel it in Google Play (Play Store › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions).
03If you no longer have the app
If you signed in with Google, install Sheen on any phone and sign in with the same Google account in Settings › Account: your wallet comes back there, and Settings › Delete my data then deletes it. If you never signed in, reinstalling Sheen on the same device and Google account restores your wallet automatically, and Delete my data works the same way.
Otherwise, write to privacy@aridya.com with the subject "Sheen data deletion request". Our server keeps neither your email address nor your name, so we can only find your wallet with its Support ID: it is included in any email you sent from Settings › Contact support. Without it we cannot tell which data is yours.
Your AI uploads and results are deleted from our server within about a day anyway, whatever you do.
We answer deletion requests within 30 days. See the Privacy Policy for everything Sheen handles.
